We at Meir Penis continue to take care of all the needy, the Holocaust survivors and the youth in their daily dealings and during the holidays. In light of the war – we are making tremendous efforts to help soldiers and families. You are welcome to take a look at some more examples of our activities and those of our volunteers yourself!

Distribution of food packages to soldiers in the south

In light of the war and the mass recruitment of the reserves, we distributed more than 2000 meals to places where the army did not have time to transport food. And this is just the beginning – every day we send thousands of packages all over the country.

A wedding at the base

Among all the requests and assistance we receive last Thursday, an emotional request came from the Sheldag unit: Our friend D. and his choice of heart were supposed to get married!!! "D" was recruited and we promised him that the wedding would take place! We will thank you for your help…" The "Meir Panis" association did not hesitate for a moment and together with the team of volunteers we organized a wedding for him from A to Z. The excited bride and groom could not believe that in the painful and bloody south, the team members, who lost the best fighters of the unit this week, did not give up. In the shadow of pain and loss, they helped us organize a quick, small and exciting wedding that took place, and that it would be possible to find a moment of comfort and that it would be possible to organize a wedding of this level. D. and Peleg for life! You deserve your life to be perfect.
