Reasons you should donate to Israel

In today’s world, when the whole world is struggling with a pandemic, recession, and inflation, Israel is facing many challenges. The number of families struggling to fulfill their basic needs is continuously growing. The government is doing its part but due to the severity of the problem, other non-profit organizations have to help.
There is a much larger concern for Israel’s underprivileged Jewish young children and teens. While non-profit organizations like Meir Panim are running multiple projects to assist those living with poverty and food insecurity, it is still not sufficient without your donations.
So, here is why you should donate to Israel:
Eliminate food insecurity – Not knowing that you are going to have a meal tonight or not, is not only depressing but also makes your life dysfunctional at so many levels. Naturally, the consequences of food insecurity are devastating and need more people to donate to Israel. Meir Panim is working hard to eliminate this feeling by feeding hundreds of thousands of children and families around the country.
Helping lone soldiers – According to reports, there are over 7,000 lone soldiers serving the country. A lone soldier is someone who has no family in Israel to support him or her. He could be a new immigrant, a volunteer, an orphan, or a youth from a broken family. Every day tens of thousands of soldiers are fighting on the border to protect Israel and its people. These lone soldiers often face financial issues despite having a good salary. As they have to pay for a place, laundry, furniture, home appliances, food for Shabbat, etc.
With the rising prices of everything in day-to-day life, these lone soldiers not only deal with financial problems but also face loneliness and homesickness. Just like these brave soldiers, Meir Panim is fighting against poverty, hunger, and lack of emotional support throughout the country for these young men and women in uniform. But we can’t do everything on our own. We need you to donate to Israel so more and more people will be able to get help.
